Products of teaching
In art and design there is a measurement by which one may evaluate their effectiveness as a teacher. The student is the final product, and their ability to create an interesting and valuable work of art is a measurement of teaching effectiveness. This does not mean that there are not other ways to measure effectiveness in art teaching, but this is a straightforward device to measure one's impact on students.
