Some free online portfolio services are:

These online portfolio services provide space for 5 free images and then charge a fee if you want more. This kind of web presence gives a potential gallery or client an easily accessible image base. If you go to the website they provide information about uploading your work. You will need to have digital images of your work.

These images should be 72 dpi and smaller than 8" x 8." Since most monitor resolution is 72 dpi, there is no need to have a high-quality image. The web site will give guidelines on the maximum file size that they will accept. Modifications can be made if the file size is too large.

This modification of the image can be performed in Photoshop under the Image menu. Pull down to Image size, then you can adjust the resolution to 72 dpi. Always keep a backup copy of your original file. It is not possible to increase the resolution of a digital file and keep a high quality. You can also adjust the image size in the same dialog box. Using the function Save for Web under the File menu can also reset the file resolution, but it will not change the file dimensions.
