It is a good idea to use a tripod to control your camera. You may want to approach the idea of still life like the artist Dornith Doherty: Ms. Doherty's works are composed like a collage. She incorporates transparencies, found objects, and other photographs then merges them into a composition which she then shoots. No photo manipulation is used in Ms. Doherty's work, although it can be used within this assignment.
