We make aesthetic decisions every day. Artists influence us and we, in turn, influence them with the decisions that we make. For example, when we choose what we are going to wear to a party or special event we are making an aesthetic decision. We choose clothing that expresses our identity and we are conscious of how we will look in that clothing. When companies instituted “Casual Fridays” it was in reaction to a trend in which people wanted to express a more laid-back attitude.
