Susan's Notes on Converting Movie Files to Shockwave Files
Susan's Notes on Macromedia Breeze
- Use a high quality microphone (we have a Platronics DSP-300 Headset, $100.00)
- Audio quality appears better on a desktop than a laptop (using same microphone)
- Easy to record over individual slides
- Easy to create online quizzes
- Inserting a Flash video converted from another format proved more of a challenge
- Moving files between computers proved problematic at times (keeping .ppt and ppc files together) Frequent error message regarding the above: "Macromedia Breeze Presenter cannot load the recordings for all files. The recordings are not in the .ppc file." See Breeze TechNote: http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_16810
- Breeze files are posted to an online Breeze server, but can easily be saved to a CD when no Internet access is available.
- Breeze does not work with Macintosh computers.
- Breeze 15-day free trial
