The required textbook includes excellent bibliographical materials throughout on many aspects of interpersonal communication.

Since this is an advanced class in interpersonal communication, it is expected that some literature research will be completed by all members of the class. Since this is a communication course, attempt to primarily use communication journals, books, databases and other references. However, there will be materials in related disciplines such as sociology, social psychology, psychology, and education and other areas of study that you may find useful as supplements.
