MAIN OBJECTIVE: Learning to APPLY course material in your daily communication.

Specific Objectives:

1. To examine the listening process in order to become more aware of the vital role it plays in oral communication.

2. To study various models of the listening process in order to have a better understanding of listening dynamics.

3. To explore the major variables affecting listening effectiveness.

4. To present current research findings on the different types of listening.

5. To provide opportunities for assessment of listening effectiveness.

6. To practice various listening techniques in order to increase listening accuracy and effectiveness.
