PERSONAL EXPERIENCE ASSIGNMENT:

Purpose: To provide an opportunity for you to share a personal experience you have had with the class. It should be an experience that was either unusual, humorous, significant, worthwhile, or in some way especially meaningful to you. It can be serious or funny. Talk about something that you have directly experienced.

Time: Only About 2 to 3 minutes in length. Be prepared and don't ramble on.

Format: Flexible, but be sure to have a brief introduction that gets our attention, one main personal experience, and an appropriate ending.

Note: This is designed to give you another opportunity to practice your speaking skills in an informal setting. The assignment will not be graded. Relax and have fun with it, but be prepared!
