A variety of topics will be discussed during the workshop, including "Evolution and the Nature of Science", "Criticism and Comments Regarding Evolutionary Theory", "Evolution and the Law", and "Creation, Evolution, or Both in the Science Classroom?" Although the workshop will be of particular interest to science teachers, it is open to all UE students who are interested in exploring the issues surrounding the teaching of evolution. If you are interested in attending this event, you will need to make a reservation with Linda Yunker (ph: 479-2024; ly2@evansville.edu), secretary of the Biology Department at the University of Evansville.
