Welcome
I have been a member of the University of Evansville's chemistry department since 1989, serving as the chemistry laboratory supervisor. I am involved in the preparation of the labs, writing lab manuals, and teaching labs in both general chemistry and organic chemistry. I hire approximately 12-20 students per year as lab assistants and lab graders for our department's laboratory courses.
I teach environmental science in the Bachelor of Liberal Studies Program which is geared toward returning adult students. I also teach classes in UE's Environmental Studies program. Additionally, I involve students in undergraduate research. My research is mostly centered on birds and wetlands.
I am the editor for the chemistry department alumni newsletter which is published once a year in the spring semester. The current newsletter, spring 2008, can be found on the departments website.
The sidebar on the right provides links to other parts of my website providing a personal profile and details on my lab, teaching, and research activities. The University links can take you to the UE homepage, university programs and departments, and the chemistry department alumni newsletter.
