A Brief Biography
This picture is of me with Dr. Suzuki.
I am a professor at the University of Evanville. There I teach violin and am the coordinator of the UE Suzuki Violin Program. I serve as student advisor in the music department and am faculty advisor for the Paul Rolland Memorial Student chapter of the American String Teachers' Association. I am Principal Second Violin of the Philharmonic orchestra and the Evansville Chamber Orchestra, for which I was also music director and conductor. I have been fortunate enough to perform solo recitals in England, Austria, and Italy.
I was the featured soloist on the Everest Recording of Bach Cantata No. 181.  I am a member of the national Board of Directors for the Suzuki Association of the Americas and I serve frequently as clinician for Suzuki conventions and workshops throughout the United States. I was honored as the University of Evansville's Teacher of the year for 1995-1996. I have a cat named Fritz Kreisler, and enjoy cycling.
